MeetUp Rotterdam

4th edition of the IoT, Built Environment & Smart City Meeting

April 9,

at V2 Institute for the Unstable Media

A variety of speakers will present the current state of affairs and discuss some promising developments in architecture, its role and the consequences for the ‘smart city’ and – above all – its citizens.

There is an increasing awareness that the developments in technology and media will/have created a hybrid environment which incorporates our built environment, hence including architecture. Next to this the discussions concerning the ‘smart city’ still are to much focused on technology as such, neglecting the fact that it is the informed/participating citizen who should play the primary role.
